Is the Letter asking you any specific questions or request for further information with regards your use of the scheme. Or is it just an initial letter telling you they will be investigating you?Comment

By the language used, it sounds like an APN has been received.
If so, not to be ignored, as failure to pay on time can result in penalties.

Interesting HMRC have sent the letters now (2022) so I suspect you have been caught in a fairly recently overturned scheme, unless the scheme you were in is real shocker.
There are limits in time as to how far HMRC can go back (again depends on level of avoidance and perceived wrong doing), unless they have already opened an enquiry which it sounds like they have not.
Can you provide any more information on the scheme and the years.
As has been said though you need to send the letter to your tax advisors asap, you need professional help normally on these things.
