Am currently at a smaller bank and absolutely love the work and people I am working with. When the banks become beasts they start acting like Public sector organisations. Have worked at Barclays twice in the past and while the place is great the work certainly isn't.

Bit touchy? No that they have a more permie "job for life" attitude and don’t take to being let go that well. Whereas other contractors are perhaps more used to it.
