The breakfast egg & Kipper was awesome.

Commute to home office with view of Garden, trees & blue sky was short and pleasant.

Two meetings and an errant SQL server have filled my morning.

And get a hot chocolate from Paul while you're there too, especially if it's chilly weather.

There's a geocache there. Will add to my todo list.

          ...

I think that next week, I shall book 3 days near Hyde Park and take a leisurely stroll in each day.

I usally work from home but have been in town yesterday and today. Strike actually makes little difference as I normally walk from Kings Cross to Client Co. offices anyway, unless it's peeing down with rain.

This mornings was particularly pleasant, sunny spring morning but not too warm. Took a meandering back streets route rather than follow the herd. Couple of nice parks on the way. Trees, sunshine, birdsong etc. It's amazing how quiet London can be if you get away from the traffic.

I had my usual 20 min stroll in to Canary Wharf - I took some bread to feed to the aquatic bird life, but they turned their beaks up at it. I paused to watch a couple of moorhens industriously finding twigs to add to their nest and said my usual "Good Morning" to the chap on the boat moored near work. Very pleasant.

In other news I went to get my lunch from Pret and was given it for free!
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

We should have more tube strikes to keep the people happy and healthy. As long as they don't breath the smog ken.

She was not quiet or discreet either.

We went through the whole spectrum of not getting quality time with her friends and all men are bastards and yada yada yada. She was at it non-stop for the whole time, the shrink must have put the phone down on the table and been watching tv and umm, ahhing the whole time. Bet they charged a grand for that lol.

By the time she got off I almost got off with her and threw myself under the bus.

                    How did your trip(s) go?
Risked life and limb by cycling from Ealing to Holborn. Its only 11 miles but my word it's dangerous. Almost got fully taken out by a cab driver this morning who decided to do a 3 lane switch without troubling themselves to indicate.

We've potentially got another 3 days next week to look forward to as well.
