That's because no one believes George. He need not say nothing. Everyone knows they'll be a currency union. And the armchairs voters in the south will not be able to do a thing about it. So stop your moaning.

I always thought it meant it was definitely going to happen but there does not seem to be enough certainty on some important areas for this to be viable.
Yes it happens if there's a majority vote.

It'll be 2-3 years for further drivel of who gets what.

That needs to change. Poverty is the root of many of Scotland's problems.

I repeat, how are you going to abolish poverty while cutting public services?
Or maybe the poor in Glasgow will be so inspired by independence that'll they'll get degrees and become hard-working middle class folk?
          Hard Brexit now!

I never said I had answers. Identifying the problems, yes. Maintaining polices such as free education are important, getting young people into a mindset that work is rewarding rather than an endless labour. Poverty will not go away by throwing cash at it. Nonetheless it's a blight that needs urgent attention. That attention will come from someone who knows the country.

When my kids were toddlers, we used to play this game: whatever we wanted them to do, we would tell the NOT to do it! Worked a treat.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
