Funny I got out of bed today and my first thought was not, strangely that fooking EU, they've stopped me doing what I want, I have no freedom.
And thinking about it, I'm still wondering how the EU is oppressing me.
If this is about the fact that EU forces us to allow in Eastern European twats like Mos, we should remember it was Blair in 2004 who allowed them in willy nilly - both Germany and France imposed an 8-year moratorium.
So, on the issue that exercises most UKIP voters, its not something the EU forced us to do but something we chose to do ourselves.
The Tory government is kind of stuck with this now - you can't very well suddenly ban all Poles from living here.
I'd like some examples of this so called lack of Freedom we must be suffering from?

Do you think it's easy to set up and run a small business these days? One of the best things about Mrs Thatcher was that she was very small enterprise friendly. She created an environment that was friendly to small ennerprise. Indeed, my own parents set up a small chandlers in Falmouth and made a healthy living from it until the mid 90s.
Think it's easy to do something similar today? Of course not. Nowadays the environment is a hostile one and much of these enterprise inhibiting directives originate in the EU and are enshrined in law by our own subservient politicians.Comment

Dunno about Britain, but forming a company in NL takes a couple of hours and you can then go and hire premises and get the permits for most businesses within a day or so at the local council.
