Oh we know it, we remember. LSE (London School of Economics) engineered the 'transformation', which fleeced Poland out of their entire national wealth and natural resources. In return, they gave us high interest debt ridden model of economy. Unbelievable!Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostDid you know that getting Eastern European countries in the EU was a British project?
If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.Comment

Funny I got out of bed today and my first thought was not, strangely that fooking EU, they've stopped me doing what I want, I have no freedom.
And thinking about it, I'm still wondering how the EU is oppressing me.
If this is about the fact that EU forces us to allow in Eastern European twats like Mos, we should remember it was Blair in 2004 who allowed them in willy nilly - both Germany and France imposed an 8-year moratorium.
So, on the issue that exercises most UKIP voters, its not something the EU forced us to do but something we chose to do ourselves.
The Tory government is kind of stuck with this now - you can't very well suddenly ban all Poles from living here.
I'd like some examples of this so called lack of Freedom we must be suffering from?
Hard Brexit now!

ok, since youre the one banging on about the wonderful economic benefits of being in the EU, let's look at the other side of the coin from the point of view of small business.Originally posted by sasguru View Post

Do you think it's easy to set up and run a small business these days? One of the best things about Mrs Thatcher was that she was very small enterprise friendly. She created an environment that was friendly to small ennerprise. Indeed, my own parents set up a small chandlers in Falmouth and made a healthy living from it until the mid 90s.
Think it's easy to do something similar today? Of course not. Nowadays the environment is a hostile one and much of these enterprise inhibiting directives originate in the EU and are enshrined in law by our own subservient politicians.Comment

Dunno about Britain, but forming a company in NL takes a couple of hours and you can then go and hire premises and get the permits for most businesses within a day or so at the local council. Right here in Euroland. It's never been easier than now to start a business in NL.Originally posted by Gittins Gal View PostDo you think it's easy to set up and run a small business these days?
