End of November, because that's when the company was set up. VAT is out of sync with that date as well.
My thinking is that a January year end would clash with personal tax returns, so if you need any accountancy advice they may be too busy. Likewise March / April.
The downside of having a November year end is that the corporation tax needs to be paid and filed over the summer, which has caused issues in the past when I go away for a month.Comment

Was 28th Feb (when I got my first contract) kinda ****ed me when there was a leap year as all my books was set to end on the 28th and start on the 1st
