We should not, in principle, be granting asylum to people threatened by individuals or who have come via other safe countries. That is not what the Geneva convention says.
That said, I do wish, since they never seem to be able to deport them all, that they would concentrate on the criminals and welfare users, rather than somebody like this who is not a threat and appears a useful sort.
All these processes cost money and if you spend it on getting rid of her and others that are not a major problem, that is less to spend on finding and removing the other sort. Surely they should examine the merits of individuals and prioritise who they get rid of first.
They obviously first need to ditch this idiot idea that one person's rights can override everyone else's and restore the proper bond between citizen and state by prioritising the interests of British citizens.
