I dragged myself kicking and screaming to the end and watched the last few episodes about 6 months ago, the first series was a wonderful piece of television, forever tainted by the bollox that they vomited onto the screen after it... -
Agreed. Hat's off to them for coming up with such a hellishly complex plot but a kick up the arse for making it totally unwatchable for your average viewer.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostThis.
I gave up in S3 because the plot became so incoherent it wasn't worth trying to follow.
As mentioned Prison Break did exactly the same. Great concept and very clever but got far too complex and far fetched. I could only bear to see his plans f up every single time for so long.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

I think the problem with Prison Break was that they broke out of the priosn in S1 and then didn't know what to do next. The whole government/multinational conspiracy thing was totally alien to S1 and frankly, boring as well as ridiculous.
The only good thing was that they weren't afraid to kill off the main characters.
PB is a great 1-series show, Lost is a great 3-series show, Heroes is a good 2-series show.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

In one of the extras on S5B, Gilligan states that they filmed the teaser for S5A1 with the M60 before they had any idea of what the M60 would be used for.

Before Walt sets off to kill Jack and Jesse, he leaves his watch (the Tag Heuer Monaco that Jesse gave him) on the phonebox. Not for any symbolic reason but because when they filmed the flash-forward he wasn't wearing the watch because they hadn't written the part where Jesse gave it to him yet.
