Yep, its all a smokescreen. They don't like Europeans but they do like being the lord and master hence the Commonwealth Unification Movement which is seen as a possible alternative to the European Union and has gained minor awareness due to the escalation of the European sovereign-debt crisis. The United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) seeks to withdraw from the EU and strengthen ties between Britain and the Commonwealth, which would include the negotiation of a Commonwealth Free Trade Area. The policy of stronger relations with the Commonwealth is also supported by many leading activists in the British Conservative Party, the current main government party. Using the European Union as a template, a movement in some member states seeks to establish a Commonwealth Union (CU) through the creation of a free trade area, visa-free travel area, common foreign policy, and representation at the United Nations and Group of 20.
I knew it all along, the UKIP wants to go back to the 50's and is run by "Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells", "An Englishman's Home Is His Castle" and "Jolly Hockeysticks"
