Tie laptop to breeze block and deliver through front room window with a note that reads "Here you are ****y".Originally posted by psychocandy View PostGot plenty of family members the same. IT work it seems is free for all. My time costs nothing it seems.
Remember my BIL a few years ago wanted something done on his laptop. Told him to drop it off and I'd have a look at when I get chance. (important bit). Week later hes moaning that its just not good enough that hes had to wait a week.
Pointed out to him he could have it done immediately if he wanted to pay someone else. If it was free, then he'd have to wait.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

This thread makes no sense on its own. From what I can tell Suity has asked someone to cuckold him and the cuckolder has been asking for money and asking for more people to be involved. A cuckolding gangbang?!?
Excuse me, I need to go and Google something. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

I have a close circle of people that I don't mind occasionally helping, but other than that I just avoid like the plague. Went to an old mates house to sort out his lads PC - it was the usual teen-victim computer with tulip loads of porn site and "free games" related malware and so on. I gave it a clean OS, restored his (now clean and scanned) work and gave it back ready to use. A week later he's whining about how crap the PC was and decided to purchase another machine.Originally posted by psychocandy View PostGot plenty of family members the same. ct doesn't help that everyone is convinced that "working in IT" is defined as "desktop support". That, combined with the magical free time and our clear never ending love of fixing other peoples crap, makes things endlessly irritating. To be honest, for most people I just play the idiot and tell them I don't know how to fix it.Comment

too common, I get all the snotty laptops, those that come with Cake or favours get fixed first.Originally posted by psychocandy View PostGot plenty of family members the same. IT work it seems is free for all. My time costs nothing it seems.

Yes I always wondered that why is my time free many people seem to think theirs is valuable.
As for a drink for Craig, he gives that out of his earnings! Or you volunteer it if you think Craig was great.
they think you have more money than them and they want some of it. they aren't mates.Comment

Next time he gets a pron virus or whatever, he'll assume its free until he sees the contract you want him to sign and recieves your £80 invoice for the hour it took.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostThe friend cull of 2014 continues. Had a blazing row with my mate last night. Culminated in me telling him to get knotted. Hate rows.
Two sides to every story and all that, but I don't like getting ripped off. Agree a price and stick to it. Every time we spoke the price had notched up £5 or £10. Until I had it out with him. It was originally this price, and in a mere 3 weeks it's crept up to this price. Why? What is the justification?
Boom. Up it went.

Whenever I am handed an iPad to "fix" I ask the hander over to show me how to google using an iPad, then I type whatever they are asking in. At that point they often manage to follow the instructions themselves. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Well the point of the thread appears to be that you have, in fact, got no mates.Originally posted by suityou01 View Post
No, I saw the light and jettisoned him. That's the point of the whole thread.
Leaving aside the obvious fact that you are glacially slow on the uptake, you may want to consider just why that is.
It may be something to do with the fact that you essentially came to the party with an intellect forged in the lower foothills of lowly Mount Molehill, and from that rather retarded starting point have continued a long ignominious slide downhill to the point where you currently reside.
You remain 10 IQ points below moron classification.
