Future looks good for George Osborne

UK trade deficit narrows, manufacturing disappoints | Reuters

Economists are worried that a recovery led by household spending will not be sustainable, especially at a time when wage growth is not keeping up with inflation even though the labour market is rebounding much faster than expected.
<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!

George Osborne somehow has engineered this as a short-term measure for peak votes in 2015.

What a rotter I say... but then I think of the alternative!

And wasn't there also a report recently saying that wages should increase by more than inflation this year?
If that turns out to be true then Miliband will have trouble touting the cost of living crisis, if Osborne can show that the wages are coming out of the woods too.

The two Eds are planning a two-pronged attack:

          1. Wages haven't kept up with the cost of living

          2. The increased growth is flaky, only being due to increased household spending

Have my doubts about this recovery too

But current economic forecasts have the UK with a higher growth rate than Germany next year. Which isn't too bad really.

I cant take another year with labour prattling on about the cost of living.

I actually cringe when I hear it.

I found shouting at the TV and suggesting their parentage was interrelated, unmarried and selling their bodies makes me feel better.

They are whining about increase in cost of living without answering how THEY are going to fix it - higher taxes won't exactly put more money into pockets of people.
