The issue with that is that nothing Labour has in mind would do anything to resolve either of those problems; they'd probably entrench and perpetuate them.

Not necessarily. If you're reliant on credit, particularly based on rising house prices, household spending can go up without wages keeping track. The thing is, Labour isn't going to change course on this, so I fail to see what "solutions" they have other than "soak the 'rich' (and the middle/working class, while we're at it.)"

And everyone is a permie. I bet they will turn up the hate on contractors, too.

Labour only specialise in pointing out the Obvious. Buch of cretins, they have ran out of people to tax and they know it.

I found shouting at the TV and suggesting their parentage was interrelated, unmarried and selling their bodies makes me feel better.

Have my doubts about this recovery too

But current economic forecasts have the UK with a higher growth rate than Germany next year. Which isn't too bad really.

If that turns out to be true then Miliband will have trouble touting the cost of living crisis, if Osborne can show that the wages are coming out of the woods too.

George Osborne somehow has engineered this as a short-term measure for peak votes in 2015.

What a rotter I say... but then I think of the alternative!
