Labour only specialise in pointing out the Obvious. Buch of cretins, they have ran out of people to tax and they know it.

Aren't these mutually exclusive? The two Eds are planning a two-pronged attack:
1. Wages haven't kept up with the cost of living
2. The increased growth is flaky, only being due to increased household spendingComment

The issue with that is that nothing Labour has in mind would do anything to resolve either of those problems; they'd probably entrench and perpetuate them.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostThe two Eds are planning a two-pronged attack:

Not necessarily. If you're reliant on credit, particularly based on rising house prices, household spending can go up without wages keeping track. The thing is, Labour isn't going to change course on this, so I fail to see what "solutions" they have other than "soak the 'rich' (and the middle/working class, while we're at it.)"Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostAren't these mutually exclusive?
