We should all urge Scots to stay in Scotland

Mistakes are made to be learned from. Currently our mistakes are made for us and we must suffer the consequences. No one in Scotland wanted to go to war with far flung countries. I doubt an independent Scotland will ever make such mistakes."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Gordo was scottish, rbs are scottish. What do you think would have happened in an independent scotland?
How would they have dealt with lockerbie?
Would they definitely not have stood alongside the US after 9/11? When the US with it's scottish diaspora are likely to be important allies on the world stage?
What about in ten or twenty or thirty years time when the downturn is forgotten and the UK booming. How will history judge the splt then? While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

In the long run I think the UK will be better off as resources currently used on scotland can be diverted to run down regions in england.
We won't need to worry about scottish jobs when making defence spending decisions, those jobs will likely come back to england, plus we'll get the boost to local economies of relocating various military bases and the stimulus that building them will entail. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. Gordo should never have been PM - where was our vote? How is this democracy?
RBS is less Scottish than Hawaiian grass skirt. The bulk of the business was not in Scotland.
What has 9/11 got to do with Scotland? Scotland, last I checked, does not involve itself with conflicts no. 10 follows by order of the white house.
I imagine people don't expect there's time in their lives to live with the promise things will be better in 10, 20, or 30 years. Change is needed now. You can feel it. Westminster will lose 10% of its income and the reduction in cost that it gets from losing Scotland will not account for a saving of 10%. Something nobody ever mentions.Comment

Why would there be a boost when the taxpayers who contribute the most per head are withdrawn from the system?"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment
