Driving on the eastern side of the M60 anti-clockwise at 7:40am on the fast lane. An Audi A4 estate comes into the fast lane just ahead doing about 90-95mph. 20 seconds later I see some rubber and granular debris flying up about 10 metres into the air. Luckily the guy just behind him slows right down to about 50mph, then I see a full tyre rolling and bouncing just in front of me and missing me by a few cm. The A4 manages to slow down and drag itself onto the hard shoulder. Phew that was a lucky escape for all of us.

tyre came completely off the wheel (i.e. tyre burst). So he was going fast on metal. You could hear it quite clearly. Also the smell of rubber just wouldn't go away.Originally posted by d000hg View PostSo was it a crash or did his wheel just fall off?Comment

Are you guys both southerners? There are quite a few fast motorways up north - M56, M66, M65, M55. Generally when you are going against traffic they are very fast.Originally posted by MicrosoftBob View PostWherever there's a gap you can squeeze inComment

Well the cars themselves are quite harmless without the cockheads that drive them.Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostDo you mean avoid the cars or the drivers? And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
