It's difficult when working away. Is there a gym you can at least do some spinning? Do you have access to a push bike at all?Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostI've managed nothing in the two weeks I've been hereKnock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

No push bike and the hours have been v.long. Up at 6, in office by 7, make at 7 into free bar and then to bed at 9. I've worked each day since arriving including both weekendsOriginally posted by suityou01 View PostIt's difficult when working away. Is there a gym you can at least do some spinning? Sounds familiar. Going to have to trade 1 hr of free bar time a couple of times a week. Working this hard for continued periods of time is just folly.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostNo push bike and the hours have been v.long. Try and ease up.

Block out one evening a week in your diary for when you're back. Clocks will have changed by then. If I'm still at ClientCo (which looks probable) we can do an after work ride - even 5-10 miles will be enough to get you into it. Any day except Fridays are good for me.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostI've managed nothing in the two weeks I've been here

I won't mention mine thenOriginally posted by mudskipper View PostActually my planned route was 42 miles. I went with "20-30" to avoid crushing your spirits.

Just 24 miles but that was with an 11 year old ( a third of the way - yep MF you are being out trained by a pre pubescent girlie!) so pretty chilled. I went down the Jubilee River apart from the fact its flooded in places it is beautiful it has cows and pretty cottages easy to forget where you are.
MF trust me if you work like that you will be ill soon, just think you could end up more whiney than Suity.
(pretty sure suity is actually hard at training then fibbing to us). Hope so because I'm not towing him.
If any of you Boys & Girls are near the Bomb Friendly town give me a shout and we can go out one night for a ride.Last edited by vetran; 16 February 2014, 17:33.Comment

Nope. Haven't trained in weeks. As soon as I attempt to train, I shake like a tulipting dog, ache all over and feel like I have flu. I have not been well for weeks, don't know when I will be better and really, really want to get training.
I'm not a very happy bunny.
