      The irony is that if you had employees you could sign a declaration saying you do not intend to end their employment in the foreseeable future, and they could get a mortgage easily despite your company being less than 3 years old. Wonderful, this credit risk management game.

      Is it at all possible that banks' credit risk systems might some day do real damage to the economy?

                Well the annoying thing was that a month previous to sorting the mortgage, they were happy to offer 100%, then changed their minds and got us to sign yet more forms.
