I do. My wife wears a different ring than her wedding one, but it looks the same. We had to cut her wedding ring off during pregnancy when her fingers swelled up

I do, but mostly under protest. I tried to avoid it, but caved at the 11th hour (Well, the day before) and purchased a sub £100 titanium ring. In my defence I don't, and have never, worn any jewellery other than the occasional watch so the whole thing was extremely foreign to me - I also pointed out there was a high chance of me losing it / leaving it in a hotel somewhere. It's been 5 or 6 months now and I'm mostly used to it, but I still forget to put it on every couple of days.Last edited by vwdan; 8 January 2014, 09:34.Comment

I have hinted that, if Mr ms would like to splash out on a nice eternity ring, I'd happily wear that. Wedding ring was so cheap that it gave me eczema. (IIRC, £40 for both rings, and they threw in 'free' bridesmaids' gifts!)Comment

I think our wedding rings were a similar priceOriginally posted by mudskipper View PostI have hinted that, if Mr ms would like to splash out on a nice eternity ring, I'd happily wear that. Engagement ring was £79.99 from Elizabeth Duke (!). Eternity ring sits in a box somewhere - I wasn't allowed to buy one before the safe arrival of DD1 though.

I do and my wife wears one and an eternity ring which I bought her. Never really occurred to me not too.
When I worked at a different company a few years ago I was adjusting some machines which were 2 man lift only. They were not heavy so I used to ignore it, one day I was holding the machine up whilst I fiddled with the settings and it slipped and dropped on my hand. I paused for the pain and nothing happened. I looked down and my wedding ring had saved my fingers. It is now a funny oval shape but I am glad I was wearing it!Comment

Why are you taking your wedding ring off in hotels?Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostNo. Got married in the summer, then lost the ring three times in the next month having to spend hours in hotel and office lost property getting it back. Sits in a pot next to my computer nowComment
