Better than breaking her ring and taking her heart!

    *sigh* you stated:

Which did not reference whether the ring was being offered, only that a person was a fool to let their ex partner keep the ring. Hence, I asked how you got the ring back if she wanted to keep it.

However, if you actually meant "if you're offered it back and refuse you're a fool" then I follow the logic although I am not sure it is a clear cut as that.

She married my housemate and I married her best friend. They're still best friends. But we're not still housemates.

Although one minor downside of autism is my daughter seems to have inherited it and is classed as a high functioning autistic. We just got her IEP from the school.

It would all depend on the circumstances, if it was an amicable break up or not etc.

I held on to my Wedding ring for quite a long time, I couldn't quite bring myself to part with it as it had been blessed.

How do get the ring back if she does not offer it?

You could overpower her and take it in which case you have the ring and are not a fool but surely you would be arrested for theft?
