I've always been thoroughly sceptical, but open minded about the possibility that climate change is at least partly man made, but with the numerous credibility issues around the warmist lobby claims simply make the whole loot look rather absurd. Crying wolf syndrome.

On the US cold issue, they keep saying that it's the coldest snap for 20 years which in global terms isn't even the blink of an eye, it's far from unusual for a large continent which borders on the North Pole to get a tad chilly now and then.
Cold mid winter weather in Canada and North America, big shocker that!!!!Comment

if you have 200 countries, at least one of them is going to have some sort of annual record every 100 or 200 years(\__/)

Good grief, at least read the damn thing ... from the Time piece...Originally posted by BlasterBates View Post
The jet stream—the belt of fast-flowing, westerly winds that essentially serves as the boundary between cold northern air and warmer southern air—is driven by temperature difference between the northerly latitudes and the tropical ones. Some scientists theorize that as that temperature difference narrows, it may weaken the jet stream, which in turns makes it more likely that cold Arctic air will escape the polar vortex and flow southward. Right now, an unusually large kink in the jet stream has that Arctic air flowing much further south than it usually wouldMy subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment

Ah, but if there were no warming then you'd expect a balance between record cold and record warm.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Postso you think its natural variation ?
