Some days it's the thought of a young MF getting a leathering that keeps me going.

So if your kids make you angry then you should be allowed to hit them? What about all the other people who make us angry, are we allowed to hit them too? Or is it only the ones who are subservient and weaker than us that we are allowed to hit? Should other people be allowed to hit our children too or is that a privilege reserved for the parents? Remember when kids were beaten at school? Would you allow your school teachers to beat your kids?
I know a lot of parents think it's a good thing to hit their kids but there are far too many parents who take it too far and children grow up seeing violence as a normal and everyday thing perpetrated by strong/powerful people against weak/subservient people.
Hitting a child is no different to hitting an adult in my book. All people, regardless of age should be treated with respect and be entitled to live without the fear of violence being used against them. People who grow up with violence end up using violence against others.Free advice and opinions - refunds are available if you are not 100% satisfied.Comment

We got the ruler at primary school - convent. I guess we were empowered by being given the choice: plastic. metal or wooden, hands or legs. They liked to give us a good shake too.
At home we got the 'i'll bang your bl@@dy heads together' which they did, the slipper or the belt.
we didnt know any different.

A good old clipping round the ears did no harm to no kid. The problem these days with misbehaving kids and teenagers is that they are molly cuddled too much and have been bought up thinking they are the spawn of royals.Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !Comment

I just took a straw poll from the SY spawn. The consensus is smacking is a last resort, and if the child has any sense they will stop on the second warning.
They are telling me it goes
1st warning
2nd warning
Send to bedroom
Confiscate toys
Get shouty
