Who's working over Christmas?

Only off on Friday 27th (as well as Xmas, boxing and new yrs day obviously).
Last day of current contract is 31st December so my plan was to work as much of it as possible with the knowledge that Jan would be a very quiet month and I would more that likely be benched for a few weeks...so a couple of weeks ago I sorted out my trains/hotel etc for staying down here those days... the day after its all booked up and paid for dev mgr 'pops' over to offer me a 3 month extension , oh well at least I wont be benched at the start of the year!

Finished this Friday for 2 weeks.

Comming back to a Sh1t storm on the 6th. bob's have a growing issue list, that they will add too, while I am away. They were never going to deliver as planned, they are hoping Sh1t storm may cover that up. Currently replying to isssues within half an hour of receiving the mail, they are not happy I am messing up their plan

This Friday is last day for three weeks. Unless another contract I'm expecting kicks off early, which it might to finish up the year's budget.

Finish on Friday, back on the 2nd... probably. That's the school term dates here, unusually only 1.5 weeks; the kids come back on the 6th but they've made the staff come back in Thur/Fri which is not going down too well - for once many people will be off longer than teachers at Xmas!
