Mettbrotchen, yuck. I pop into the little shop here at work each morning to pick up my cheese roll and there they are, a half roll with tartar and onion on it, stinking the place out. We sometimes do a team breakfast here and there's all different types of rolls and there they are again, horrible (actually the real way to eat it is with a raw egg on it.) I call it German Sushi...“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -
When you order a steak here they all if you want it 'Englisch' which is rare and bleeding bloody blood all over the place...“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

Medium - lots of pink, bits of red are good too. It tastes so much better.
I used to eat well done, but it just tastes like tulipe and it very hard to chew.Contracting: more of the money, less of the sh1tComment

Raw is even better. Steak tartare anyone?Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Never tried Tartare and always been a bit nervous to try in case I re-enact that Mr. Bean sketch, but given I like Carpaccio and Sashimi I probably would like it?
In Sweden they serve a dish of raw mince with a raw egg broken over the top. I think I could do raw yolk, but not raw phlegmy egg-white

The difference is that ceviche should have enough lime and chilli to kill most things.Originally posted by Bunk View PostTry ceviche too.
