Maybe your boss didn't realise that the work you were doing was not needed by all stakeholders in the way that you did it? Is that your boss undermining you or just failing to take into account all stakeholder's needs?

            Disgraceful.
So you made a decision without consulting your boss and he overruled you?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

unless you are wondering whether to bury him under the patio.

Its knee jerk management, its available from almost anyone in a smart suit with a manager title.

Even if they were a stakeholder and voted on the Design gate/phase.

Just smile, send the stakeholders & sponsor a copy of the gate presentation and specifications annotated with the changes and get on with it. Then Invoice or take the pay packet.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

So why did you do it then?
