Had there been a promise of gladiators or gladiator related previously then I would have refrained from my long-winded post.

Wouldn't it be great if we could all just get along together, be nice, be open, warm and welcoming to new comers and treat everyone who uses the forum with respect. Yes, even those ******** idiots who ask the most stupid questions and expect a sensible answer. Why do we pick on new people the way we do? Is it some kind of herd mentality where this kind of behaviour is deemed acceptable? This lad is spot on and for once we have an apparent Scot who isn't full of bile and viciousness. I tell you what, let's say a big ***** you to the past decade of the forum being the way it is and listen to this guy. If he says all the smart arse comments should be in Light Relief then let's put them in Light Relief and see what happens. Maybe we could also move some of the questions from the professional areas of the site into General and have some proper discussions in here about contracting rather than the dull unfunny tulip that gets spouted every day. So come on. LET'S DO THIS!! We could make him a new mod too so he can show us how the forum should be run. HIGH FIVES ALL ROUND!!

So come on Dundee - do you like films about gladiators?
BTW, this thread would have fitted nicely in "Business / Contracts" and we would then have worked to keep the thread on topic. As it is you can see some good answers in this thread mixed with some light-hearted banter. This forum has been around in one shape or other for over 10 years now. The groups you see as cliques are people who do kind of know each other and will take the piss. Join in or don't, but don't expect the forum to bend to your way of thinking just because it matches your stereotypical view of how a forum should function.
You know we loves ya reallyComment
