Nokia? Now dead if not dying since they partnered with MS.
I hope the cast of employees that escaped can make something good."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark Twain -
They have been bought by MS, so going nowhere in the short term.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostNokia? Now dead if not dying since they partnered with MS.

One of the guys has a Nokia window phone and I must admit it seems to do the job ok. I kinda wish these would catch up and be a reasonable player for no other reason than to keep Android and Apple on their toes and actually provide them some competition so they keep their game up.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

My cheapo Lumia 610 is actually quite nice although a bit slow - it doesn't seem to like the WP7.8 update too much but it is the bottom of the range.
The lower end WP8 models apparently are remarkably fast for the spec, better than equivalent Android phones, so I am quite tempted to upgrade but no idea which model. I would like a 1020 but I'm not sure I can justify a top-end phone when I use it so little. Maybe if this potential gig in London comes to something I'll reconsider, as it is I use 3g about 10Mb a month and WFH so the PC/iPad is always in range for checking emails.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

SKY is the big one missing but there are third party apps that sort of do it, that is the only one that is not there that I need. I also find the look and feel of the apps is far superior.Originally posted by russell View PostHow is the app ecosystem, is there anything missing?
