I have the 920 and it's an excellent phone if a little big. Recently there has been an update for the phone which has improved the camera no end. Well at least it seems that way to me.
I recommended the 920 to a client, he doesn't like it. The battery life in his old iPhone was much better and more apps.

I've just gone from an 800 to a 625. I think they are great, 625 will take a memory card, you get all the free Nokia software, I needed a bigger screen as my eyesight is getting worse. The 625 doesn't have HD but that's irrelevant as my eyes aren't up to it anyway. £170 for a phone then a monthly sim only contract is great.

give it a few years and most businesses will be using MS powered mobile devices
we currently use apple (for phones and pads) but as soon as there are some decent MS devices we will move to them.

I'm still a stickler for paperback when it comes to reading books. Regarding the other uses that's where a tablet is more useful. Trying to merge a variety of requirements into a single form factor is not progress imo.Originally posted by amcdonald View PostIf you've got a big screen on a phone, there's less need to have a tablet as reading books, watching videos, remoting into servers etc is a lot less fiddly

The main problem is that they're still having their Skoda momentOriginally posted by Paddy View PostThe advantage about a Windows phone is that it more of a business phone and comes with “Office” . I find it very handy for writing ad-hoc documents and then synchronising them with the laptop. The problem with most phone they are built for entertainment.
There's nothing wrong with them, but the perception is that nobody has one

And also surfing the web, ever tried to surf CUK on an iPhone while you are sitting in the mall and your wife is spending your cash in the clothes shops? Result is PAIN!

In many ways I'm still liking the iPhone 4 screen size over the new iPhone5, but I prefer the light-weight of the new phone.

I have a Nokia 820. IMO Windows mobile O/S is the best thing Microsoft have created.
I don't need many apps: Kindle being the main one. But as OP has noted has Office apps which you can sync.
Will upgrade to the top of the range Nokia, for free, next cycle.
Then will have a phone, all my books to hand via Kindle, and an excellent camera in one package.
Brilliant for travelling around with.
But it's horses for courses with phones.

I have a Lumia 800 and looking to upgrade next year.
Apart from some annoying charging and ending calls issues it's a great phone and will probably get one of the new WP8.1 phones when they come out.

I use the 520 and the 820. Actually the 520 is an amazing phone for the money. There is a big update coming soon to 8.1, I think that could be a massive leap for the phone.
I think next year will be a massive catch up year for windows on all platforms, supplemented by the new xbox.
