Yes, if all food producers/retailers raised there prices in concert every 6 months until people were starving to death all the while enjoying bigger and bigger profits there would be a revolt. Obviously the food market is much more diverse and works properly, has proper competition and choice.

It doesn't take much intelligence to work out that Greece is poorer than the UK and has lower (if any) wages.
