so what would be acceptable to you your highness?Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone -
Not at all, just culpable for the situation leading to it.Originally posted by MyUserName View PostI see where you are coming from but I think you are twisting phrases slightly here, no one has claimed that the parents were responsible for the actual abduction (if there was one).
DA, all you are trying to do is mitigate what they did. Others will not, as they'd not leave their kids alone full stop.Comment

Not leaving them unattended would be my guess.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View Postso what would be acceptable to you your highness?Comment

Of course not - I was trying to point out that the 50 meters thing wasn't as clear cut as it seemed.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostSo had they had a line of sight to the door of their apartment they would have been free of criticism?Bazza gets caught

Not leaving them unattended, pretty much. For all the reasons we've gone over previously.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Not flipping leaving a 3 year old and 2 younger kids alone in an apartment at all. I'm pretty sure that is what would be acceptable to her. And me for that matter.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View Postso what would be acceptable to you your highness?Bazza gets caught

I'll play (only the first one as the rest can be looked up easily enough):Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostWhat you have to consider m'lud are these questions:
I am going to assume that 'your eye' means 'the eye of a trusted person' (teacher, family etc) and say that it depends. I take my eye off them when I put them in bed but then their bedroom is at a level of security I am happy with, could it be breeched? Of course it could but I think it is safe enough.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View Post1. What is a permissable length of time can you take your eye off your kids? Is it 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 45 minutes or 1.0000000000.19999 minutes?
Our house doors are usually locked unless we are going through them.
When they are playing in the garden - we have a high fence and a locked gate so I check on them every 10 minutes or so at least.
In an unfamiliar environment I have them watched pretty much constantly unless there is somewhere secure for them to be (a room in a locked apartment etc). Then I might relax and watch TV in the next room, the access to their room would be looked or I would make sure I would notice someone entering.Comment

Define unattended; do you mean alone, with no-one watching her? Or out of my guidance, sight?Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostHave you ever left your children unattended?Comment
