There are plenty of "spreadsheet jockeys" in the City who earn far more than you
That's because you can do more high-level, added-value stuff (including data analysis) in Excel than in C++

Last I checked it was 10.6 Snow Leopard AFAIK(even their names are cringeworthy FFS).
But I haven't used it as an "Apple" for nearly 2 years now, don't know if it auto-updated. hard to tell now.

Nice tho - handles dual monitors very well, just two 27" screens are too big....

Did you merely mean Excel brings powerful functionality to non-coders? If that's what you meant, you're right. It's a very powerful piece of software.

Partly. Useful in stats for prototyping, too.
But many IBs have huge amounts of apps written in VBA.
