That would be another flop. Klopp is the only one for united from what I can see - long-term guy with the right mindset and playing style who will attract the right players. -
He's ruled himself out though, sounds like he's happy to stay put.Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostThat would be another flop. I thought that was the point of hiring Moyes, they were investing in him for the long term.Originally posted by doodab View PostFerguson was a one off. It was always the case that once he retired they were going to lose the preeminence they enjoyed under him. It could be decades before they find someone else who can give them the same sort of long term stability and long term success, most football managers, and most clubs, just don't play the long game the way united have for the last 20 years.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I thought so to but they clearly feel he was the wrong man and I'm inclined to agree. He never seemed to have the mentality for it IMO, his whole mindset, the level of expectation he placed on himself and the team, attitude to the opposition and such like came across as if he thought himself and the team mediocre. He lacked that "winning mentality" that Ferguson and the players themselves had.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI thought that was the point of hiring Moyes, they were investing in him for the long term. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. One of the biggest problems was that he got rid of all the old backroom staff and bought in his own.
Surely there should have been a transition as they say that this is one of the reasons he lost the more senior squad members who were used to dealing with the old guys.Comment
