Can you really blame Moyes for the transfer dealings ? Surely the big mistake was letting Gill leave and getting a newbie in to negotiate the deals.

If Gill had stayed on for a year to help facilitate the move then maybe the 2 windows wouldnt have been as bad as they were

If more deals had been completed, United would have 10 players who's best position is behind the striker, rather than the 4 they have at the moment. 2 of which were bought this season!

As a City fan, it would be easy for me to say “Yes, you could; Moyesy is a footie genius!” but, looking at it as subjectively as possible through my blue tinted specs: No, you can’t. I am hard-pressed to find any team, that after dominating for so long, as it got it so wrong when transitioning to new management. I’ve seen extracts from Red Issue, who for all their other failings, are pretty on the pulse when it comes to gossip from the dressing room; and it appears Moyes has not only lost the dressing room, but has lost the back-room staff now too – Giggs in particular not even being on talking terms with him. All supposedly of course, but there’s no smoke without fire.

What was interesting, that was reported last week in the MEN, is that Phil Neville, Robin van Persie and Darren Fletcher all have their children in City’s academy rather than United’s.

Then we need to go and get a decent manager who can manage a club of the scale of united. Not Moyes, Neville and Giggs in charge (who the hell thought that would work in the first place!).

They are certainly playing like he's lost the dressing room. In the game against Liverpool and plenty of others this year it wasn't just that they were out played, they were out worked. A big thing about last season was the number of times we went behind and scored a late winner - this season its not happened at all. City imploded towards the end of last season and it cost Mancini his job. United have been a shambles since before the season kicked off.

I don't think SAF counted on Moyes coming in and dismantling a working engine only to replace it with awful new parts. It's like taking a Royles Royce engine apart and replacing it with Lada parts.
