Flag waving and anthem singing is all very well but it doesn't put food on the table. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014 -

England has a crippled sense of nationality, I find it quite funny that they are handing out lectures in patriotism now.Comment

The Scots are always the victims. let them go their own way and find their own confidence - like the Irish. One thing is for sure that unless they ditch the left wing "parties of entitlement" they won't become rich.Originally posted by minestrone View PostEngland has a crippled sense of nationality, I find it quite funny that they are handing out lectures in patriotism now.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

For starters England has no parliament of its own, and has a liberal establishment hell bent on destroying any last vestige of English identityOriginally posted by minestrone View PostEngland has a crippled sense of nationality, I find it quite funny that they are handing out lectures in patriotism now.

Going by this, and other threads the victim status seems to be more from the English. England does have a crippled sense of identity though, on that we can agree, it can't handle its own communities independent identity, the flag has right wing connotations to many and it can't handle its relationship with Europe. None of this will go away of Scotland splits.Comment
