First CNC lathe I worked with was programmed through the BBC micro, it is probably not that much more advanced now.

But yes, I was wanting to do a digital design course recently, could not find anything.

there in the business to make money, and if painting nails is all that interests the local then so be it.

          The skilled workers left anyhow.

Plenty of places do courses like that
                eg

                Apprenticeship Programs | Fanshawe College

Just need a college that does apprenticeship courses.
                I'm alright Jack

Keep looking chuck, something will turn up

Anyway, is there actually anything to learn now about CNC? Do you not just pass the machine the drawing and what the material is and it works out all the cuts and stuff for you? You just have to keep the bits sharp.

I dunno but that was the predictions of how it would all hang together last time I was working on it.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'
