I think their Yaris/Corolla/Auris are awesome. I can't imagine a need to go smaller than a Yaris so would never even consider an Aygo. Mrs NWP2C has a pristine 1.6 Tspirit Corolla, absolutely lovely drive. -
Yep, but those cars have a thingy in the front that at least resembles an 'engine'.Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostI think their Yaris/Corolla/Auris are awesome. I can't even see much because it's obviously designed for someone who's 5'2" so all I can see is the bloody roof unless I bend my neck to look under it. I'm not especially tall either.Originally posted by eek View PostI had one as a courtesy car a couple of years back. The Aygo is a car with split personality. Around a busy town its brilliant, you can see absolutely everything. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Isn't this the thing that Aston Martin Rebadge as the Cygnet?Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostBrought the J-a-a-a-a-g for servicing at a garage that someone recommended, got a 'free' replacement car for the day; a Toyota Aygo. People, if you have become accustomed to a contractormobile, do not consider buying this car. It is slow, noisy, rattly, wobbly, plasticky, tacky, yucky and generally poo. I have renamed it the Toyota Aygoslowly. It can't hold it's speed up a hill, acceleration is sort of, well, tomorrow, and while I know that the Toyota Corporation make several products that excel in many ways, this is not one of them.

nope thats an even smaller car which is actually made by Toyota (the IQ). The Aygo is a rebadged Citroen C1 or Peugeot 107.Originally posted by bobspud View PostIsn't this the thing that Aston Martin Rebadge as the Cygnet?

You mean that thingy that's being offered at a knock down discount price of 50,000 euros at the dealer because they can't sell any of them?Originally posted by bobspud View PostIsn't this the thing that Aston Martin Rebadge as the Cygnet?

I bought a 56 plate Toyota Corolla Verso T180 2.2 litre diesel (175hp) just last night - no problems at all.

They were only available to owners of a DB9 or above in this country. don't think I have ever seen one outside of a show room though. At least the Fiat 500 Version that Ferrari built was bloody quick. (I don't think that the Italians at Ferrari quite understood why they had to make a low emissions car)Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostYou mean that thingy that's being offered at a knock down discount price of 50,000 euros at the dealer because they can't sell any of them?

Yes, it has 175hp, so it will probably at least move. I have become accustomed to a supercharged V8 with 400hp. I am not convinced that the Aygo has any hps at all. I may have to pedal back to the garage.Originally posted by KentPhilip View PostI bought a 56 plate Toyota Corolla Verso T180 2.2 litre diesel (175hp) just last night - no problems at all.
