yes , but Countries outside Syria cant authorise the Syrian military to do stuff.

The stages of authorisation are lengthy, probably 6 or 7
and thats just for a little bullet

Soon be time to add 'CONDO' to the watch list on jobswerve et al again. That said the rates that have been on offer recently for Afghanistan have been dreadful, not like the £1k+ pd doing basic sys admin when Iraq was happening.

Perhaps they wonder whether it's wise to drop bombs in a region that already suffers from a lot of conflict, and perhaps they're concerned that attacking chemical weapons facilities might release huge amounts of poison into the environment and kill thousands more civilians. As usual proggy thinks it's as simple as his own little bundle of nerve endings.
Where did I say we should bomb Syria? I said an intervention.

It's the same thing really - the days of Western cultural intervention (ie Beatles, ABBA) are long gone - sadly Spice Girls can't deliver the goods now

good point. we need someone with a very big mouth who can suck in all those poisonous fumes, and has such a low brain cell count that even a top nerve agent like 007 would never find them.

                  any volunteers ?

                    I guess I was right

BBC News - US ready to launch Syria strike, says Chuck Hagel

US Secretary of State John Kerry has said there is "undeniable" proof that Syria used chemical weapons.

I don't like to gloat I will leave it at that

Just to show what sort of people William Hague and David Cameron are supporting.

You can fast forward to 06:30 if you wish.
