But it's not a fluff piece either.Originally posted by Ticktock View PostStrange, your post seems to be anti-Ballmer, but the piece you linked to is broadly supportive.Comment

I would welcome this too. I wonder how likely this is?Originally posted by AtW View Post
I hope Bill Gates will be back...
Bill must be getting bored of spreading millions around africa now, and is surely looking forward to some fresh business domination.Comment

It's unlikely now.Originally posted by KentPhilip View PostI wonder how likely this is?
But whoever they pick would be terrible and Microsoft would be in peril - this is when Bill would ride in on a white horse and put things right.
You've heard it on here first...Comment

The 'investors' hate Ballmer because he called it wrong on the iPad and Android based stuff.
The fact that the guy increased profits on other stuff is neither here or there. What racks off the hedge funds is a static share price + 3rd place to google and Apple.
All his jumping around, screaming and "developers, developers, developers" bollox went down a storm in the US. The guy has been screaming on US TV since the mid 80s and was probably the innovation for the double glazing ads we see on UK TV...Last edited by ExPermie; 23 August 2013, 19:47.sasguru says:Answers on a postcard please!Yes but you are quite limited after allComment

He is part of a force for innovation and is directly responsible for the creation of millions of jobs worldwide. So why is he an utter ******?Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostBallmer = utter
I'm real curious as to why people think Ballmer is a tosser? The guy is a true wealth creator...just like Gates, Jobs etc.
Yeah, he fooked up but he also succeeded where Gates failed: increased profits.
The markets wanted Ballmer gone, the markets got what they wanted!
It's now downhill from here...especially if they do what I think they're going to do...the politically correct but utterly wrong option!Last edited by ExPermie; 23 August 2013, 19:57.sasguru says:Answers on a postcard please!Yes but you are quite limited after allComment
