So has anyone bought a 3d printer or been working with said new technology? Anything interesting produced? Costs? Uses?

I have a friend that has bought one of the replicator models but his success has been patchy. I will hold off for another few years judging by his efforts. It will be fantastic once they iron out the reliability issuesComment

Would there be any point? Unlike the USA, where you can pick it up with your groceries at WalMart, ammunition isn't freely available in the UK. If you had access to ammunition (whether legally or illegally), you'd almost certainly have access to proper guns too, so why bother using some untested thing that'll probably just blow your own hand off?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostComment
