    You & I are of above average intelligence and education (despite my DM addiction) there are a whole raft of people who are being sold to and don't realise. I also when younger lusted after things advertised and a lifestyle I couldn't maintain. It is insidious and sad.

    Free will is necessary and censorship of adverts is frequently bad but there is a line between the two and IMHO its in the wrong place.

            Free will has an important companion called self discipline. How are people to learn self discipline if the moral decisions are taken from them?
