    I think I've had this discussion before on here where I stated examples of people doing random degrees that the media hype as useless but in my example actually provided an economic benefit to the person and the economy.
    No I'm saying that if you have to pay £27,000 for a degree many people just decide not to bother.

        More or less how I started mine. Always watched the OU stuff on a Sunday morning like the Geology ones which were pretty interesting. I was doing HNC which included maths and an A level Maths is parallel so thought I would just do the M101 maths which should have been a doddle. Slightly different approach to the maths applies/pure so was a little more work but was hooked after that. All the interesting modules were available after that. Did a CAD one which was a breeze as I was working in CAD at the time and by the time I got the easy ones out of the way I was halfway as well.
