Not sure I see the logic of a drop top diesel mind.

You are on the motorway doing 90, you'll want the roof up.

You are toodling along in town or a country lane, you'll want to hear a nice 6 or 8 cylinder petrol engine, not the sound of a Massey Ferguson tractor.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Is this thread still going on?
The man wants to waste £5K on an old banger that'll make him look like a chav. Let him.
        Hard Brexit now!

Better than wasting £25k on a car that is designed to have crap handling and makes you look like a chav.

Just a thought, have you considered wasting your money on a Jag?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

This is so funny. How can it be on the road, and will be on the road? If it's at a dealer, it isn't on the road, it's on a forecourt. It will, of course, be on the road IF someone buys it.

From the lowest of speeds, the GT86 rolls with a controlled comfort allowed by 215/45-section tyres and fine damping of its body. It steers with slickness, total linear accuracy and fine weighting.

The GT86’s slickness of steering, tightness of chassis control and general love of corners wowed us all.

The ride is firm but fair, but the GT86 is all about the handling. The light weight and classic sports car layout (engine at the front, driven wheels at the back) gives the GT86 real agility, and the fast throttle responses and quick, weighty steering help, too.

You guys were right about the 320d - no good really.

I realised that the 330d M Sport is one of the best ones out there - might wait a few months and buy one of those instead for a bit more (7-9k).

Poor old OH, thinks this 2nd hand car is just going to sit around for the next 10 years unsold.

Nice to see he's sharing Sasguru's "things that happened on CUK" google-doc.

Now this is a completely different bag. 5 series are cheap because not many people want/need such a big car so not much of a market meaning you get a lot of car for your money. 330d M Sport is more likey to be cheap cause it's fooked. HTH.
