I remember getting pissed on Skull Splitter - Orkney Ales when I lived in Aberdeen. That certainly lived up to its name the next day!

Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Amstel or Carlsberg Export. Out of a bottle or draught mind nothing worse then premium beer out of a tin.Make Mercia Great Again!Comment

Ocado now has Windhoek Lager which I have always loved.
I also like Sam Adams Boston Lager, Staropramen (can give a nasty hangover though) Tuborg, Budvar and Pilsener Urqeull and HofbrauComment

Try this http://www.sierranevada.com/.
It's an American brewery and is one of the finest drinks I've come across. A few good pubs in London now have it on tap. You can pick it up in Waitrose I'm told.
Have a go. It's superbComment

Kind of given up on beer but as Apfelwein is pretty unique to a certain region then when needs must I'll drink:

and the contents of this place: Maruhn, oh and Czech beers are fantastic.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

Isn't Tuborg just Carlsberg?
Of the mass-produced lagers, I am fond of Becks Vier and still have a fondness for Bud... but only in a bottle so probably any lager tastes better from a bottle.
When gardening in the summer sun, those 2.8% French Lager stubbies are still my preference, you can drink them as you sweat all afternoon whereas anything stronger makes me feel awful.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I agree with the better taste from the bottled stuff. As for gardening and beer, I prefer the stornger beer when I'm gardening. Mainly because I hate gardening and after a few beers tend to sack the gardening and get pissed in the sun insteadOriginally posted by d000hg View Post++

I don't drink much beer these days but I drank a lot more of it when I was in Germany. I see Helles has been mentioned already. Mmmm
Back here I don't mind the odd bottle of Peroni or some of the Belgian beers some pubs have, Vedett or the amusingly named Slag Pils for example.
But really, bourbon is more my thing.Comment
