    not sure that is enough but its better than nothing.
    Apparently she's walked out on him, which is a more fitting punishment. He'll now go through life known to the world as a lonely old drunken wifebeater.

          lets hope he actually realises what he lost, Nigella does seem to be a good egg.

            Yeah, he'll find some very young and dumb birds to shag, but I can't see him finding another MILF of that quality. Like the song says;

            "I seen every blue eyed floozy on the way, hey
            But their beauty and their style
            Went kind of smooth after a while
            Take me to them dirty ladies everytime"

                  I'm a bit cynical about that. Someone who assaults their partner in public won't have done that for the first time. Saatchi must have been rather comfortable with being physically abusive to her to do it where he could be seen.

                  Meaning that for quite some time she put up with it and didn't walk out on him. And she's still not made a complaint to the police. I think she's now largely "left" because that was the public expectation. I have my doubts about whether she'll leave him for good.

                  Given that many people are actually trapped in abusive relationships (because they don't have the means to leave), I think she's setting a pretty horrific example for other abuse victims. She's independently wealthy, she could have protected herself, but chose not to (maybe the lifestyle with him is just too nice to give up?). It's rather sad. And socially irresponsible. She may be a victim of domestic abuse, but her actions aren't helping the over all cause one bit.

                    Give the woman a chance; maybe it was the first time, she's walked out and she's taken the kids and none of us know how long she'll stay away. It's also very unfair to expect her to act as an example to others in these circumstances; I think she has enough on her mind without worrying about 'the overall cause'.
