But science and medicine have their limits and God is all-powerful.
So he should be able to grow amputees limbs back.
Seems a strange omission in his miracle arsenal.
What do you think hand and face transplants are?

Wonder how God chooses which prayers to answer? One of the women imprisoned by Josef Fritzl prayed every day to God for decades in the hope he would answer and she would be released, but seems he wasn't taking her calls. Yet someone claiming to be in a wheelchair at a local church gets healed, always happens in a church funnily enough.

Her prayers were heard once she got rid of her prejudices and had enough faith.

He only helps people who go to church. And if you're kidnapped you can't obviously. Doh!
Impressive, this God bloke.
Seems to have his limits though, doesn't seem able to grow amputees limbs back.
Even if there are no verifiable (to your satisfaction) accounts, what does that prove? Do you have a statistical breakdown of verified miracles that show that God has a bias towards healing a particular group of people? No. Because you don't believe that there are any miracles, therefore God doesn't do any healing, therefore there can be no verified miracles of healing.
There have been claims of amputees growing limbs back - quite a famous one here . The implication that Christians don't claim this particular kind of regenerative miracle is not based on fact.
The whole question is a red herring. Most believers don't believe on the basis of miracles, and even if a man came back to life after being dead for three days, and was seen by hundreds of people, confirmed sceptics still wouldn't believe. The idea of miracles is not a realistic proposition to them - they've already rejected the possibility.
Come on people. No scientific proof, only a book of meaningless waffle and vague predictions on the future. A rabble of rabid believers trying to thrust it down everyone's throats when it's clearly bunkum.
Blimey it's not exactly climate science to see through it is it?

You need to believe.

Come on people. No scientific proof, only a book of meaningless waffle ...
Given that the English language owes as much to the King James Bible as it does to Shakespeare, I don't think the term "meaningless waffle" is an entirely accurate description. Some of the writings are outstanding examples of ancient literature, up there with the Gilgamesh epic, the Ilyiad? Or are they meaningless waffle as well?
