The biggest immigrant groups at the moment come from the EU.

      1. They cannot vote in General Elections i.e. vote for an MP.
      2. EEA which includes EU citizens have absolutely no reason to get a British passport due to freedom of movement.
      3. They can vote in Local and European elections but I doubt many of them vote as most British people don't vote.
      4. Eire is a special case.

That source does not clarify whether they were French muslims or immigrants nor does it seem to mention the US?

I thought the point you were making was about immigrants voting for a certain party and undermining the country - did I misunderstand?

          As you were.
It has added to their credibility and many voters may well consider them a viable alternative in a general election.

Remember things like these evolve and don't tend to be absolute.

Only citizens can vote in France.

No. You got it right. Essentially, the Left started importing clients from the Third World when locals realized that Socialism sucks.

IIRC, Mitt was complaining about 'the 48%' always voting for Obama, and those were immigrants, unemployed and blacks. It's one of the things that took him down.

For the person saying something is a wasted vote, as 'they always vote tory round here', do you not think that's an issue? It can mean 80% of the warn aren't represented properly.
