This is exactly what will happen.

As I understand it the main difference between the SNP and Labour is that the SNP want an independent Scotland, and they have in the past formed a coalition with the Greens among others. Whether they or Labour win power the government will be socialist.

I think Independence would be good for Scotland because the Scots could then fail to stand on their own two feet and finally give in to alcoholism and beg England to take over again, with a bit of luck they will stop moaning about it for a couple of centuries

How is Scotland going to become an entrepreneur creating economy when currently anyone in Scotland who dares make any money is sneered at. It will only happen if it has a government that will encourage enterprise.

There's no reason Scotland would collapse if independent. Many tiny countries exist though how they survive I am unsure.

There is a big difference between becoming less profitable and collapsing. Scotland has real exportables and decent tourism which is more than can be said for some other nations.

I know a lot of Scots and entrepreneurs are treated with envy and suspicion. At great risk to my own personal safety Scotland needs a dose of Thatcherism
