re: news - very strange for that to happen...If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers. -
Obviously some government link.
Perhaps he spent time dissing Tony on an Internet bulletin board.

If I were them I'd be banging and yelling to be let into the US under armed guard (and offer to pay for their own in-flight meals).
I reckon they'll be safer there than wandering around here own their own as 'free' men..."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

But hang on, the way the media was spinning this (well not this one but the other three guys) was that Uncle Sam just sent an email last week to Big Tony asking for the three guys to be sent over, which Tony just said yes. But in this article the original request goes way back to 2003?
Also, how dodgy is it that they got Natwest to sell off their stack, then left and brought up as much as they could before selling on.
Sorry...but these guys were just asking for an invitation to the Cuba Hilton!

Awe poor things...but heres an idea...why dont they just use some of the £9million they made in profit to support themselves while on bail?"They won't be able to work in the US so they won't be able to earn money to pay their lawyers so I fail to see how they can get a fair fight on that basis."
Gawd, if you are going to try and play the sympathy card at least be black or muslim!

Two issues for me, the crime in itself looks well suss. BUT here's the thing, British bankers, british bank, crime commited in Britain. WTF are we doing extraditing British citizens to the US, with no burden of proof on their part, in a one sided treaty aimed at helping the fight against terrorism?
No sympathy for them but on general principle I'm pretty fecking unhappy that once again we're taking it up the arse from the US and they give us SFA in return. Not to mention my utter lack of faith in the US justice system or their chance of a fair trial in the home state where the Enron were based and the thing had the biggest impact.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith
