who is? My Children had the MMR, if the single jabs had been available safely we might of had those instead.

As has clearly been stated a number of times its a minuscule risk. AIUI the risk is many where the child is already sick or is overloaded with other vaccines. So Due Diligence when doing vaccinations would probably reduce the risk to near zero. However official denial doesn't make this more likely does it?

However I was taught to question anything, especially if it looked suspect.

Mr Hitchens did point out Measles Deaths were already falling possibly due to better nutrition & healthcare so any statistics about MMR may benefit from that effect.

If you think the fact your kid didn't get autism proves anything either way, I think we definitely know who the moron is.

Having one vaccine makes a lot of sense, the uptake of 3 sets of multiple administered injections tends to be somewhat lower leading to more cases. Add to that there is a shortage of the Mumps vaccine as it is no longer manufactured. So single injection is on the whole less efficacious.
        Quite.

Personally I don't know why the Health Service is now obliged to work all hours in Swansea to accomodate cretins who didn't vaccinate in the first place.

That way Darwinism works: the people who make the right decision thrive and those who don't die out.
I doubt Vetran (sic) has kids. And if he did he didn't/wouldn't vaccinate them.
        Darwinism in action either way.

Nothing wrong with questioning things based on analysis of the facts, but this disaster has happened because many people don't. There is a core element in society with a mistrust of medicine and science, who believe in conspiracy theories and do so based on heresay, misunderstanding, or downright mistruths published in newspapers. This herd mentality will never change.

I think he's saying that he's not surprised his kids don't have autism given they had MMR. As am I.
Whereas if they didn't and were exposed to measles you'd be far more worried that they'd get it.

If you weren't a Jaffa, would you give your kids MMR?

No tulip Sherlock! That's the only sensible thing you've said on this thread.
Show me a drug/vaccine that has no risks.
Even aspirin can be dangerous, as can penicillin.

The risk free medicine doesn't exist.

I know - but I'm saying the fact your kids had MMR and don't have autism is not statistically relevant since the claims about MMR only say autism is more likely, not that it is likely.
