I'm not sure it applies if you don't actually live in the UK.

      Emergent service workers

This class group is financially insecure, scoring low for savings and house value, but high for social and cultural factors. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:

      Are young
      Enjoy a cultured social life
Rent their home - almost 90%
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

        Traditional working class!

I blame not "going to gigs"!

Why not? what is there to be ashamed of? If I remember rightly "priviliged background" was not part of the questions asked so where you are in the class system is defined by what you do and what you earn which means you are there on merit.

I wonder if Andy Murray, Tiger Woods, Lionel Messi feel uncomfortable with being elite sportsmen

Neither am I but I did go to a top uni. And now I'm 'elite'. Perhaps free higher education system was actually good for something.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

              Elite.

Not sure if it is my privileged background, gazillions in savings or that I hang out with CEO's

                    Technical middle class
This is a small, distinctive and prosperous new class group.
However, class does not make a better person. The most honest person I know is a cleaner. The most dishonest is a solicitor.
